Neighbor Christmas Gifts, Plus a Free Printable
This summer, we moved into a new home and new neighbor hood. We got along really well with our last neighbors (most of which were over the age of 70) and had high hopes for our new neighbors. They've exceeded all our expectations. Within the first few months of living here, we received cookies, bars, and even a coconut cream pie (one of our neighbors owns the bakery in town), and warm welcomes from all of them. I've been overwhelmed by their kindness and really look forward to growing in neighborly friendship.
You know the saying: the best way to make a friend is to be a friend? That's what I want to do. I intend on showering my neighbors with the love and kindness that Jesus would if He moved into a neighborhood. So, this year I made Christmas cookies to give to them. Now, I realize that to you "super moms" this would be a very small thing, but I am not a great baker, I hardly ever get my act together enough to even get our Christmas cards out on time, and I only grew up with one close neighbor, so we didn't do a lot of this stuff. So, this year, I made cookies :)
Ok, now to the printable. Well, I had to label the cookies so they know who the cookies came from and I came up with this little design and decided to share it with you. I hope that you are able to spread the Christmas cheer to your neighbors as well. Maybe if we all spread love to our neighbors, we will impact this sad world :)
